Flowers and Gift Box

A hand-tied bouquet delivered alongside a separately wrapped gift box — chocolate, a candle and a hand-written card. Two objects arriving at once reads as more thought than one, which is the entire idea.

Trim two centimetres from each stem at a slant before the first water change. Keep the vase out of direct sun and away from the fruit bowl — ripening fruit gives off ethylene, which ages cut roses fast. Change the water every second day and these will hold for six to eight days in Lahore's summer.
