Wicker Basket, Mixed Flowers

Mixed seasonal flowers built into a lined wicker basket with a carry handle. Basket arrangements sit flat and travel better than anything else we make, which is why this is what we send to hospitals and to houses with small children.

Trim two centimetres from each stem at a slant before the first water change. Keep the vase out of direct sun and away from the fruit bowl — ripening fruit gives off ethylene, which ages cut roses fast. Change the water every second day and these will hold for six to eight days in Lahore's summer.
